Built in May 1953 as AT&SF SW9 2430 (c/n 18096) on EMD Order 4219, it was renumbered to 1430 in August 1974, retired November 23, 1977, rebuilt at San Bernardino to SSB1200 1230 (second) March 20, 1978. It was sold to Amtrak September 10, 1984, becoming AMTK 561 (second) and later became Sisseton Milbank 561. |
