Description:  Two fine examples of Southern Railway motive power team up on the Lonesome Pine Limited, a Bristol to Bulls Gap turn. The epic duo is see here at Mohawk, TN, just out of Bulls Gap on the return leg. As will happen from time to time, a "cloud come up" before the train's arrival, but it was nothing a little B&W could not improve.

Title:  TAG 80 & SR 3170 at Railfest 2016
Description:  Tennessee, Alabama & Georgia #80, their only GP38, wears her "as built" colors for the first time since TAGs 1970 acquisition by Southern. #80 sits by SR 3170 the class engine for Southerns SD40 fleet. Both locomotives were extensively overhauled by Norfolk Southern before coming to TVRM. The units are on display at TVRM during Railfest 2016 and are accompanied by NS 3045, a GP40-2 and road slug 710.
