Description:  ED-8 glides to a stop by Wagon Wheel Road in Ayer. After dropping cars by Hill Yard, ED-8 continued through Ayer towards CP-WL. It canned by SanVel after switching. It had NS SD70ACC #1817, NS ES44AC #8033, NS SD70ACe #1195, and MEC C40-8 #7552.

Description:  After ED-8 canned in the Willows, it was recrewed by ED-9 some hours later. ED-9 collected the FRED and placed it on the nose of 7552 and backed towards the District 2 and District 3 line to change tracks and run around. It had NS SD70ACC #1817, NS ES44AC #8033, NS SD70ACe #1195, and MEC C40-8 #7552 as light power.
