The locomotive was wrecked in April 2013 in a collision between Amtrak Train #1, the westbound Sunset Limited, and a big-rig in Lissie, TX. At this point in time, the unit was waiting to be sent up to Amtrak's Beech Grove Shops.

Description:  Would you have expected to see a P42 lashed up with an MP15 and two GP38-2's? And yet that's what we see here at UP's Settegast Yard locomotive facilities.
