Utah Railway Coal Train
Title:  Utah Railway Coal Train
Description:  A Utah Railway coal empty with UP units on the lead moves downgrade at Kyune. This train will be loaded at the Savage load out later in the day. This was the last Utah Railway coal train scheduled to run before Utah Railways coal contract expired. Apparently Utah only has two coal trains scheduled in January to meet some of the contracts tonnage requirements; and then they will exit the coal hauling business for the foresee-able future.

Helpers on the Move
Title:  Helpers on the Move
Description:  A group of Utah Railway engines race through Spring Glen south of Helper on their way to the Savage coal loader. These helpers would become part of what could be one of the last coal trains on the Utah Railway. With their coal contract set to expire; and only a few coal trains scheduled in January; the Utah Railway is leaving the coal business for the time being.

Westbound Stacks and Pigs at Erda
Title:  Westbound Stacks and Pigs at Erda
Description:  I was traveling between Salt Lake City and Tooele; when I caught this stack train (ISCLB-27) running through Garfield, Utah. I followed it down to Erda, where I was able to catch it highballing pass the Fassio Eggs feed silo. UP 8074 is on point, with three SD70M units (UP 4060, UP 5032, and UP 4712). It seemed like the train was at full track speed, all the way from Garfield down through Erda.

Resting on the Mainline
Title:  Resting on the Mainline
Description:  Due to floods in northern Nevada, the Union Pacific had to reroute a large amount of trains over the Shaffter Subdivision (which itself was crippled by some flood damage too). Due to this traffic jam, the UP began to stack trains out on the Lynndyl Subdivision east of Garfield and west of Salt Lake to prepare them to travel down the Shaffter in conjunction "fleeting" together on the crippled line. I found one such train, left peacefully on one of the mainline tracks; while a flooded field reflected the blue sky.
