Description:  The long-hood of this veteran High-Hood up close and personal. Doing a switching move around its train, P95, in the old Carolina & Northwestern Yard at Newton. Thats a narrow gauge boxcar that ran the line in the late 1800s, now restored and sheltered at the Southeastern Narrow Gauge & Shortline Museum that also calls that area home.

Title:  Leading on the Curve
Description:  An eastbound NS freight rolls past through the interchange with the South Newton Lead (former Carolina & North-Western) into the infamous Newton curve at the milepost S-48, in brisk early morning hours of early January. The Newton Depot used to be behind the locomotives on the engineers side before it was moved in 1998, and the freight Depot stood on the spot where the picture was made.
