Album Info:Formerly the Colorado & Southern, the BNSF Front Range Sub extends from Milepost 0.0 at Denver, Co to Milepost 240.8 at Wendover, WY. The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe railroads merged on 12/31/1996 and I moved to Fort Collins in February, 1997. My move was perfectly timed as I was able to photograph the unusual locomotive consists during the BNSF's early years. One of the most notable locations on the Front Range Sub is the "street running" on Mason Street in Fort Collins. I decided to create a separate album for my Mason Street photographs...this album will focus on BNSF operations between Cheyenne, WY and Niwot, CO. Thanks for looking!!
