Title:  A Dresden bound ICE-T departs the Frankfurt Airport station
Description:  Frankfurt Airport is Germany's busiest airport and has two train stations: one for commuter and one for long distance trains (pictured here). The train here, an ICE-T, is the tilting version of the ICE train. It is hard to tell from the picture but this train was actually two 7-car train sets coupled together, a very common practice in Europe.

Title:  A "Koploper" rests at Amsterdam Central
Description:  The "walk through head" in operation The train's name Koploper means "Frontrunner" but the name can also be seen as a reference to "walking through the head" ("Headwalker"(Dutch: "Doorloopkop")). When ICM units joined, the doors at the end of the train would come out, and a walkway would emerge, coupling with the other set and allowing passengers and crew to walk through to the next set. However, this feature was disabled during refurbishment in the mid 2000s.

Description:  This class of locomotives were nicknamed "Blikken Tinus" (Tin Tinus) due to the clattering noise the rods made at high speed. This particular example was built in 1914 by Berliner Maschinenbau AG and is seen on display at the Netherlands Railway Museum.
