Album Info:Both the New Hope & Ivyland and it's neighbor, the Black River and Western were operating steam-powered Santa trains this past weekend. So I set up some trackside shots of NH&I Stean locomotive #40 in the morning, then headed over to Flemington, NJ to chase BR&W #60 in the afternoon. These two tourist railroads are only about a 20 minute drive apart from each other.

Description:  The New Hope and Ivyland was alternating a steam-powered Santa train out to Lahaska with a diesel-powered Santa train also to Lahaska on one hour headings, with the trains passing each other at the New Hope Depot. Passengers paid a premium to ride behind steam.
