LN FP7 #670 - Louisville & Nashville |
Description: |
Built in August of 1949 by EMD for the Chicago & Eastern Illinois as their #1600, this FP7 unit then moved to the Missouri Pacific roster as their #933 before reaching Louisville & Nashville as their 2nd #670. It's wearing the cost cutting but unattractive basic black paint scheme designated for freight use but a faint image of the former MP nose logo can be seen peaking through the paint. No location was given for the photo taken by Paul C. Hunnell. |
