Description:  Still wearing its Erie Lackawanna colors, this SD45-2 unit was merged into the Conrail roster. During the summer of 1998 while on loan to the CN, it experienced an engine failure and was summarily sold to the Reading & Northern to serve as their #3601. An unknown photographer caught the duo outside East Altoona, PA.

Description:  Conrail #6666 started out as Erie Lackawanna #3681 before merging into the CR roster. To the left is CR 9141, ex-PC 9141, nee-PRR 8541. This color slide was taken by CR conductor Ken Taylor. The color had deteriorated to the point that I could only flip the slide to a b&w format to save the image.
