Album Info:The NS Juniata shops embarked on a rebuild program to convert high hood GP38/GP38AC's to low hood GP38-2's. The first set of locos, # 5501 - 5580 was financed by First Union (FURX). These were returned to lessor in 2013 and went out into the lease market. The second set, # 5601 - 5673, was financed internally and completed in 2007. 65 of these units remain on the roster and none have Admiral Cabs
