Album Info:October 28, 2007 marked the grand opening of bidirectional service on NJT Pascack Valley Line by double-tracking the formerly single-track line with passing sidings. The first weekend service in over 60 years beween Spring Valley, NY and Hoboken, NJ began. Rode #2107 outbound/#2112 inbound. The riders on the first trains included many railfans, some in groups to celebrate the new service. Things were quite hectic for the start of the new service as the new timetables weren't even available at Hoboken in the morning and the new trains were even on the schedule board early in the day. Later in the day new timetables were in and trains were finally in the right places on the display boards.
