Album Info:In the 1950's a popular excursion on the B&M - MEC was a trip that left Boston, ran to White River Jct., up the Connecticut River to Whitefield north of the White Mountains and down through the Crawford Notch to Dover and Boston. It covered about 330 miles in about 10 hours. Also included in the album are some shots I took in 1960 while traveling to Montreal thru White River Jct. Vermont, a place where the trains from Boston and New York met and proceeded to Montreal via either the CP or the CV/CN after some shuffling. Three miscelaneous B&M photos are also included.
