Album Info:Today was forecasted to be a nice sunny day so i headed out trackside for some railfanning. As i stepped out of the car at Pulaski Street, i could not believe my eyes, there sitting at the depot in all its glory was a B36-7! It has been over a year since i have seen one on a local so i was extremely happy and promptly went over to the depot to get some good rosters. Afterwords i heard some chatter coming from the yard, and found a grain train being assembled in the yard but out of view, but more importantly the local showed up to help with the switching. After the grain train left, i waited for a long time while Y111 idled in the fowler siding, waiting for Q616, Q616 finally showed up an hour later with a great consist, the train came to a full stop at fowler and the sound of the two EMD's and the GE accelerating was amazing! After the local left i went to the Oconee Bridge to catch it returning, and caught the B36-7 returning light from East Athens. Afterword i went up behind the Lyndon house to catch Q675 pulling up to the depot for a quick stop. Barely 10 minutes after Q675 was gone a work train came screaming through town with another B36-7 second in train! About an hour later as i was heading home, Q618 called on the radio and i had to quickly turn around and was barely able to get a grab shot. After coming home i found i had been accepted into the University of Georgia! 13's certainly a good number for me!
