Having seen two trains on ATCS, on the BNSF Hannibal sub, I headed out with the hope of catching both.....but it did not happen. Was about 3/4 of a mile short of the first one (which was more interesting), as it had a pumpkin, Ferromex, and a WAMX on it. So had to wait for this mixed train, just before the showers started! |

We had this east bound, and a west bound coming about the same time, so we thought we might get two in the same shot. But this train stopped about 8 bundles of ties back, conductor got out, walked about 8 cars back of the engines, came back, and at this point they are at the crossing we are waiting at. Several hours later, this train was still not at Fort Madison, as the dispather asked them for their professional opinion about what was going on! |
