The series was numbered 24000-24049.The paint and lettering on this caboose was in very sad shape, but on the doorway side I was able to make out the roster number. This is in storage at the Connellsville CSX Yard (Keystone Subdivision). It does not get moved anymore, and with the condition of it, It was out of service here and has since been scrapped. |

Seeing one in the old Santa Fe paint scheme is such a rarity around here. Plus there were so many interesting old freight cars on this train. In the background is the abandoned N&W/P&WV bridge. |
