Morning on the CBRM
Title:  Morning on the CBRM
Description:  The sun's coming up on another autumn day in Chillicothe, MO. The Chillicothe-Brunswick Rail Authority (CBRM) was the current operator of what's left of the former Wabash/N&W line to the left and used parts of the ex-CB&Q/BN tracks as its yard. Eight years later the CBRM is gone, replaced by the Missouri North Central and the two depots still stand as part of a Bar-B-Q restaurant.

CBRM
Title:  CBRM
Description:  The Chillicothe-Brunswick Rail Authority (CBRM) operated the former NS/NW/WAB line from Chillicothe to Brunswick MO for two periods, Jan 1987 to Mar '90, Oct '94 to Mar '04. CBRM was formed under the Green Hills Rural Development Agency, a quasi-governmental NW Missouri group. GHRD sold the road to the City of Chillicothe in 2004, with the CBRM organization being officially disolved by the state in Dec 2009. The route, now functionally a 4-mile terminal operation, is leased by the city to Motive-Rail Inc (MRIX), who runs it under the Missouri North Central title.

Odd train
Title:  Odd train
Description:  A UP SD70M leads a short, and curious, train by the MFA elevator on the NS in Centralia MO in Aug 2004. Judging by the passenger car, spacers and odd, yellow cars in the middle it would appear to be carrying spent nuclear fuel. (speculation- or illumination- welcome)

Title:  CSX on the Spine Line
Description:  Polo MO is the point where the UP (ex CNW and Rock Island) "Spine Line" intersects the ICE (former IMRL, SOO, CP, MILW).
