Description:  A BN Executive SD70MAC leads this empty coal train off the Ft. Scott Sub. The car to the right is the PURPLE KIA that my co-worker and I were assigned to by the Lenexa, KS Enterprise Rent-A-Car. This shot gives a good overview of the 'Old Union Depot Interlocking' - thats what the tower in the background was for.

Description:  It's hard to tell, but this light power set is rolling over the UP/KCS/ICE diamond on joint BNSF/NS trackage while heading to the Auto distribution facility to get their train together. The track in the foreground is a connector from the UP to the NS track. Too many reporting marks!

Description:  This GP38-2 was, interestly enough, built for Penn Central as 7968. It survived into Conrail days as CR 7968 before being traded in (?) to EMD, where it became part of the EMD lease fleet and carried EMDX 768. It was later sold to UP as their 1924, later renumbered to 424, and finally sold off to LLPX. Thanks to http://www.trainweb.org/emdloco for the info.
