Album Info:Monday was Easter Monday and I had the day off, so we headed up to Brantford for a couple of hours. When we got there CN 7039 was parked awaiting its crew to arrive to work the Brantford Yard. There was work being done on the track and, the CN foreman went by us on the North track in a CN high railer truck. There were quite a few tank cars from Nanticoke in the yard and they needed to be shuffled around. Among the tank cars were two fairly new ones SHPX 221297 and SHPX 221287. Then CN 2438 lead a long freight of ballast cars, bulkhead flat cars and coil cars through on an east bound freight, the second unit was CN 2404 still in the CN zebra stripe paint scheme. Via 902 lead a 40 minute late # 78 into Brantford and did a five minute station stop, because of the amount of people returning home after the holiday weekend. CN 5663 lead CN 331 through while Via 78 was stopped. Via 78 was on the South track so I had to go up by the signals if I wanted to get a shot of 331. CN 331 had a very short consist mainly of tank cars and some grain hoppers. CN 2608 was the trailing unit on 331.
