The chosen date and location based on the February 1, 1952 CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet. Number 5083 was built by Baldwin in July 1918 (c/n 49229) and sold for scrap in March 1954. I suspect that the photo date was much earlier based on the headlight style. |
