BR1 27005
Title:  BR1 27005
Description:  Steam heating is the order of the day, on the residual portion of the overnight service from London Euston to Mallaig. I had travelled on his service from Preston behind 7 different locomotives, with loco changes and reversals at Mossend Yard, Cowlairs, Glasgow Queen Street (in platform shunt and a reversal and finally a Fort William. A total of 9 locomotives being used on the train. Class 81 London Euston to Mossend yard. 2 x Class 27 from Mossend Yard to Cowlairs. Another class 27 from Cowlairs to Glasgow Queen Street, a Class 40 for an in platform shunt to release sleeper cars and attach day coaches. 2 different Class 27's from Glasgow to Fort William and finally this loco 27005 from Fort William to Mallaig! Can't do that now!
