Title:  The two tails of Pacific Surfliner SC44
Description:  With 2109 and 2110 being part on an earlier batch of locomotives, they did not receive the blue scheme tail like sister engines 2111-2122 as shown with 2113. Some say that Amtrak California and Siemens weren't quite sure whether to apply the blue tail to the first two or not so they came in unlettered when they initially arrived on the Coast Starlight not very long ago.

Title:  Pacific Surfliner Deadhead
Description:  Amtrak 6903 leads a set of Pacific Surfliner equipment into a storage track at SLO. 6903 is one of 66 Surfliner cars built between 1998 and 2001. These cars introduced the "Pacific Surfliner" branding, and are often supplemented by traditional Amtrak Superliners. This deadhead set of equipment consists of five Surfliners, a Superliner fifth from the front, and SC-44 2113 as power.

Starlight and Surfliner
Title:  Starlight and Surfliner
Description:  At San Luis Obispo at 3:25 PM, Pacific Surfliner 2113 rests in a storage track while the southbound Coast Starlight prepares to depart. 2113, an SC-44 Charger, had arrived at SLO three hours earlier on Pacific Surfliner train #761. After the Starlight departs, the Charger and its set of equipment will be moved to the station track, and prepared for its 4:22 PM departure back to Los Angeles.
