Description:
NW 4-8-0 #444 takes a spin on the Columbus, OH, turntable in 1957. Known as "Mollies" to the Norfolk & Western crews, this 4-8-0 was built by Alco-Richmond sometime in 1906-07. Specs - class M, 56" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 21x30" cylinders, engine weight of 206,200 and tractive effort of 40,163 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo.
