Here is page 13 of a 32-page cover article entitled "Juice Jacks: The Electric Locomotive Comes Of Age." It was published originally in the July 1944 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 20. Partial Caption: "Electric motors thread the longest tunnel in the Western Hemisphere ~ Great Northern's 8-mile Cascade bore." Pictured at the left is Great Northern Railroad engine #5012, a Y-1 (1-C-C-1) electric built by the American Locomotive Company in October of 1927, acquired by the Pennsylvania Railroad and renumbered "2" in August of 1956, and retired in March of 1962 after 34 years of faithful service.
