Description:  Thirteen old locomotives were stored on Wabtec’s west test track, just north of the locomotive plant in Fort Worth. They were GECX (ex-BNSF) 4798 and 4795, CSX 137, GECX 4822 and 4776, UP 6168, GECX 4828, UP 6231, CSX 54, and GECX 4791, 4780, 4826 and 4804. The GECX units were C44-9W’s, while the CSX and UP were AC4400CW’s.

GECX, NS and UP Units
Title:  GECX, NS and UP Units
Description:  Thirteen old C44-9W units (nine GECX and four NS) were stored on the west (right) test track next to Wabtec’s Fort Worth plant, while a pair of freshly-rebuilt Union Pacific C44ACM’s were on the east track. The C44-9W’s were GECX/ex-BNSF 4798, 4795, 4822, 4776, 4828, 4791, 4780, 4826, 4804, NS 9253, 9374, 9307 and 9394. The UPC44ACM locos were the 6194 and an unidentified unit. The nose of UP AC4400CW 7205 was visible between the two groups of locos.
