Title:  L&N 4-6-2 152
Description:  On New Years Day 1952 Louisville & Nashville K-2A Pacific 152 was parked on the median of Elysian Fields Avenue, next to the French Quarter, where it was providing steam for occupied Pullman cars. Back in the days before New Orleans had an abundance of hotel rooms, sleeping cars were regularly used to accommodate visitors who were here for major events such as the Sugar Bowl and Mardi Gras.

By this time in its career, the 152 was usually assigned to the Pensacola Division, and it had been towed in from Mobile because it did not have Automatic Train Stop equipment for use on the line into New Orleans. The locomotive was built by Rogers in 1905 and was the L&N's third Pacific. It was donated to the Kentucky Railway Museum in 1957 and is the only preserved L&N Pacific.
