Description:  Good, clean looking Burnham, Wm & Co (Baldwin predecessor) Consolidation type locomotive built in 1900 for the Louisiville & Nashville RR. Specifics - class HO, 49.5" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 20x24" cylinders, engine weight of 134,200 lb, modest tractive effort of 29,673 lb. The loco was scrapped December, 1948 after 48 yrs of service. Unknown photographer

Title:  L&N 2-8-0 #1006 - Louisville & Nashville
Description:  One of a very large group of over 250 2-8-0's built by various companies starting in 1903, this is almost a prototypical view of one. 57" drivers, 190 psi boiler pressure, 21"x28" cylinders, engine weight of 185,500 lb and a total tractive effort of 34,986 lb, it was an overall good mover of freight for its time.
