Its a shame to see this steam locomotive damaged badley. To make matters worse, the 13 year old boy who was responsible for this was never charged. Onieda County spend more than $1,000,000 for repairing the station which took them 5 months. The steam locomotive as of right now will not be repaired. |

Originally it was numbered in the 8500's. According to the August, 1940 issue of "Railroad Magazine", the specs on this loco are class B-10, 58" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 21x28" cylinders, engine weight of 163,000 lb, tractive effort of 32,570 lb. |
