UP Southbound Editors Pick! Contributor's Pick!
Sunset at UP's Joso Bridge over the Snake River. C30-7 2429 leads an SD40-2 southbound, headed for Hinkle OR. This shot was taken from the State Park next to the bridge- the photographer and his photo partner, Charlie "Dr. Lego" Walsh, were parked in an RV, burning meat with beer in the cooler and enjoying the evening when the train reported itself on the radio. The picture was the easy part.
