| BN ran a small piece of former CB&Q trackage in Leavenworth KS until 1987 when the line from E. Leavenworth MO was abandoned along with the bridge that crossed the Missouri River. The elevator is gone as well now. Here SW1000 436 works the yard at roughly 4th and Choctaw in March 1982. The view looks almost due east, straight to the bridge. |
