| Central Ave Bay 1 is finally ready for ballast as workers put the finishing touches on the ballast mat. Note how it is tucked into the steel caps on each girder. To the left is refurbished girder #1, to the right is new Girder #2. Pretty similar, right? And-no worries-that the paint will be touched up as needed before work is complete. |
