Jim Dodds General Great older shot! What a nice catch! I was only a little under a year old at the time. Haha, nice. Seen on the homepage! NS doesn't operate many trains with DPUs. 2/27/2012 7:32:28 PM

Robert Jackson General GREAT! (SEEN ON THE HOMEPAGE 7-9-12!) 7/9/2012 9:57:19 AM
Tom Beckett General Actually this was pretty common on the old N&W(and Southern); long hood forward was the way they rolled, even with the new GE's with the wide radiators. Trains would come east from Crewe with three units up front-upshers were unheard of on this part of the railroad-often with 200 plus cars for the coal pier. 2/17/2014 12:59:27 AM
David Nutter General Seen this been cover front RP homepage today! Great shot again! 4/14/2014 12:02:16 AM
