| Missouri Pacific 1964 was phntographed at the former MP-T&P Avondale Yard, across the Mississippi River from New Orleans. This unit was constructed in 1962 as Missouri Pacific 457, one of 000 MP low-nose GP18's built in 1962-63 using trucks and other components from traded-in Alco Fa and FB units. The 1964 was retired in November 1981, during the inhtial retirement of MP GP18's, and scrapped. |
