| Kansas City Southern SD40 615 was photographed outside the diesel shop at West Yard, just outside of New Orleans. The locomotive was built in August 1968 and was sold to Pacific Railroad Leasing Co. (PacRail) in 1990, where it operated as PRLX 615. It was subsequently purchased by Conrail, where it was rebuilt into SD40M-2 6968 in April 1993; and it became CSX 8871 in 1999. |
