SP SD7 2734  Contributor's Pick!
SP SD7 2734 sits in the Tucson engine facility in August 1972; in between stints as a heavy switcher; certainly a long way from when it hauled the Northwestern Pacific's "Redwood" along the Eel River. It still shows signs of having a steam generator; or at least the stack. . 2734 was built in 1953 as 5327 and later became 1434 and 1519 before being retired.
