Two trains dominated Tehachipi in the 1980's: the Southern Pacific Oil Cans, and the always long "wood train." Here the wood train is headed uphill with the lead engines just having exited Woodford Siding with the first set of helpers cut in abt. 40 cars back from the head end. |
