UPY 124         
CCRCL in UP terminology. Basically they house remote control equipment so that any unit hooked to them can be controlled remotely. They are remote control sleds.

Patrick McNamara General The units seemed like a good idea to some satchel-assed boss in Omaha, but thwn the Peer Trainers teaching the new RCO tech to new hires reminded local managers about the FRA regs - these units were unable to operate the BELLS and HORNS of the units they were lashed up to - they were deemed useless and all were taken out of service. 6/13/2014 5:36:00 PM
