| Looking north along St. Louis Street towards North Claiborne Avenue and I-10. NS Warehouse B is on fire, and warehouse C is beyond that. These were two of at least eight freight houses built here around 1910 by the New Orleans Terminal Co. Two of the city's famous landmarks, St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 and the Iberville Housing Project, are on the left. I-10 is the bridge visible through the smoke and NS Warehouse C is hidden by the smoke. |
