Kenny Ravenscroft General Great looking scheme, did they go for it? Where's the Coast Guard?? 5/1/2010 12:18:34 PM
K.M. SIES General Ah, still in the works. Hopefully something comes of it! Coast Gaurd could be placed on the other side of the locomotive, sir. 5/2/2010 7:25:39 PM
Joe Musolf General That actually looks really awesome! I'd love to see that on UP rails sometime in the future. 7/27/2010 10:53:26 PM
Wyatt M General I'd be all for this loco. I mean c mon if they did 2010 they should deffinately do this. 8/5/2010 12:48:04 PM
John Teeter General I think they still have 3593, the Desert Storm unit, in paint. But, this would be a good one too! BTW, being ex-military; the Coast Guard is part of the Transportaion Department! 8/7/2010 6:21:37 PM
David Harding General This unit seems to fall into UP's pattern of doing special schemes to honor different organizations and events. So, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this unit see the light of day painted like this or in a slightly modified version. Good to see UP do this type of thing. 5/23/2011 9:00:35 AM
steven langsford General Great photo!!! and a excellent idea!!! 9/3/2011 9:46:42 PM
Dave Howarth Jr. General The UP 3593, Desert Storm unit was scrapped some time ago carrying UP colors. This unit would add great "color" to the fleet IF they were to paint up a unit similar to this. 3/23/2013 8:30:40 PM
Jamie Smith General Coast Guard is part of Department of Homeland Security. It moved there in 2003. 4/24/2016 7:35:14 PM
David Nutter General Neat! 1/18/2020 11:45:41 PM
