Something for everyone
You see some movement off by the distant horizon, catch a glimpse of a headlight, see a consist snaking down onto the high plains and then it disappears. A short while later the locomotive pokes over the swell in the landscape and bears down upon your vantage point. This eastbound manifest at Diablo may not have a KCS Belle, but the current-day "big four" are represented in this wild power consist.
