Here is the sixth of 33 color prints of calendar art works that were commissioned by the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1925 through 1958. Shown here is Grif Teller's painting entitled "Giant Conquerors Of Space And Time." It was published originally in 1931. Depicted here is PRR engine #5495, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during February of 1928 and retired in April of 1956 after 28 years of faithful service. |
