An SD70ACE leads a freight manifest train across the Youghiogheny River Bridge into McKeesport, Pa on a perfect November morning. This is the Pittsburgh Extension of the CSX line. The train bridge was built in 1968 originally for the P&LE Railroad. Along with another bridge up the Yough at Liberty Borough, they were able to divert the train traffic away from downtown McKeesport which had wreaked havoc with the roads. |
