| Built new for C&O, to CSX, to Helm and rebuilt to GP40-3 specs and used as warranty protection power. Due to lackluster performance this group was returned to Helm and entered the general lease pool. The former Amtrak units featured HEP pass through connections although it is hard to see in this photo. In this shot, 4415 is working on lease to UP. |
