It would appear that the North Little Rock UP yellow paint did not hold up too well on what appears to be a neglected locomotive. This unit was built in August 1981 (c/n 807019-7), delivered in Jenks Blue, received its UP paint (with MP lettering) on July 27, 1985, got new UP paint and lettering on October 25, 1991, and became UPY 651 on September 1, 2000. |
