Idling contentedly in the rain, ST 51 and ST 52 in new Maine Central "heritage" paint await more work. The scene represents a changing scene on Pan Am railways. The leading russel plow is in original Maine Central green, and makes a nice comparison with ST 52 on of 2 heritage units done so far by Pan Am. ST 51 marks the dark years of New England railroading in tattered G gray, and the trailing plow, off camera is the new image, Pan Am.
