Eugene Cain	General	Great shot and there is that Bridge again!!!! It just looks like you could push it over!! I suppose it was in better shape...I love those old bridges!!! We had one on the G&F line just out from North Augusta....that people used as a trash dump. (The track had been pulled up back in the 1960s, so it was the perfect dumping ground.) Seaboard Coast Line GP38-2 #531 leads Birmingham (AL) bound train SCL #330 past the south House Track switch
The conductor is exiting the locomotive cab and is preparing to toss down waybills to the agent while being hooped up a switch list, waybills, messages, train orders and clearance card. As 330 is holding the main, this means his work will be light as heavy days require a run up the siding to access the very long Outside Track.
