| Amtrak P42DCs #201 and #189 provide the lead power for the 2010 Feather River Express sits as the train sits at the Martinez Amtrak station at the start of its long journey to the Western Pacific Railroad Museum in Portola, CA for the Portola Railroad Days. This train was scheduled to have UP 1983 (the WP heritage SD70ACe) leading, but due to a goof-up in Oakland, these two P42DCs got put on instead. A major disappointment for those of us that went there just to see UP 1983. |
