| CLOVIS NM Jan 22 1984 --Santa Fe SDF45 5956 sits on the west end with a cut of TOFC-COFC cars.This time of year even midday sun casts long shadows. EMD built the locomotive as ATSF F45 1906. It became ATSF 5906 in the 1969-70 general renumbering. In May 1982 it was rebuilt as an F45u/SDF45 and renumbered to ATSF 5956. It was retired in May 1995 and went to Wisconsin Central Railway as no. 6651 on June 16 1995. (Roster information from atsfrr.net) According to http://kohlin.com/WC_Roster.htm the locomotive has been scrapped. |
