| This CNR reefer car surely needs a lot of restoration. On display at Exporail. Thanks to Raymond Kennedy for his comment: " Express reefer (note psgr trucks) stencilled OVERHEAD REFRIGERATOR VENTILATOR & HEAT; serie 10500-10549 built CNR Transcona in 1948 and second order of 50 cars built in 1949. " In addition, Mr. Raymond Kennedy (Old Time Trains) confirms the AAR Mechanical designation BS for this Refrigerator Express. |
